The Inside of The Out­side, artis­tic movie.

Inter­dis­ci­pli­nary Grotesque.

The film lit­er­al­ly takes the sur­re­al­ism of Jull Dzi­amski’s paint­ings into a new dimen­sion. This art project used art­work to cre­ate a dis­tinc­tive uni­verse and divid­ed it into three short­er episodes. The red, blue and black muse­ums were built from ele­ments, tex­tures and moods from images in a new real­i­ty.
As the cre­ative direc­tor, I cre­at­ed the main idea of this project. I wrote a full script and drew a sto­ry­board. Then I was able to man­age the visu­al side of all ele­ments in the three depart­ments of Pilo­to Stu­dio — CGI, Motion Design and Cre­ation.
Dzi­amski’s paint­ings are spe­cif­ic, because they bal­ance on the bor­der between grotesque and kitsch. Essen­tial­ly, the main dan­ger lay in the sim­ple fact that our film should also find this frag­ile bal­ance. This film should be strange, sur­re­al and grotesque, with care not to cross the line of ridicu­lous­ness.
Unfor­tu­nate­ly, the project was not pri­or­i­tized and ful­ly fund­ed. Me and oth­er artists have done it lov­ing­ly between com­mer­cial projects.
