Triptych of Forgotten Worlds
When the desire to learn meets the picture.
I love playing with colors in my illustrations, whether they are 2D or 3D. However, the workflow between the two types can be radically different. I have a specific style in handmade illustrations, so I felt I also needed to hone my skills in 3D compositing and post-production to feel confident in this type of work.
For this reason, I built the space using 3D software and made all the models in this project. I decided to make each element myself, make textures and render all the images on my own terms to see what I could do. The essence of this project is the post-production of render passes and their management in searching of new ways of composition. In the end, I made three works in a similar style, but different mood.
